Carvon oil promotes the formation of gastric juices, soothes the intestines, prevents tension and gases. Because of these characteristics, it is recommended in a combination with anise for babies with cramps, and a tense stomach.

Warm and unsweetened cumin tea was used in folk medicine as one of the most effective anti-vomiting products; it was also used for digestive cramps, tension and strong gases. Cumin upsets the intestinal muscles to stretch and eliminate gases that occur when food is decomposed.

It is an herb that irritates, opens, heats, strengthens the stomach, and stimulates digestion. It contains essential oils, sugar, starch and salt and its volatile oil promotes the functioning of the stomach and gall bladder.

Also note that the anise and fennel tea should not be consumed daily (not even in children).
